I will be changing my name, my real name that is, as soon as I work out off the details. But I will be changed my middle name and my last name. My middle name will still have the same inital, just different name, and my last name I will be taking from my grandmothers irish roots.

I plan to do the same thing in the not too distant future, assuming my mother's maiden name. Why? I don't want the same name as my father.
Raven, how much does it cost off-hand to do it?

Why? Because one I have not spoken to my father for many years, and my middle name and last name are both from him. Another reason is that I want to to honor my Irish roots, third, to pay homage to my grandmother, she knows I love her.
First of all, you have to live in the state and county you are at for 1 year, secondly, it is 40 dollors, minus any fees you might have.
